Hike Park of Portofino

HIKE EXPERIENCE 1 – from Portofino to San Fruttuoso

After a steep but short ascent, the centuries old trail, dirt with some rock steps, follows the outline of the characteristic conglomerate cliffs that plunge into the deep blue sea, creating breath taking coves, accessible only by boat.

The descent offers unexpected views over the hidden cove and the 16 th century stone watchtower built to protect the area from the pirate attacks.

The monumental San Fruttuoso Abbey suddenly appears in all its beauty in the main bay.
